Set out below are the terms on which Tara Skin Clinic provides services to its patients. Please ensure that you have read and fully understood them prior to booking any treatment.
- Appointment Booking & Deposits: To secure an appointment at Tara Skin Clinic, a non-refundable deposit of £45 is required at the time of booking. Because we operate strictly by appointment only and do not utilise an automated online booking system, this deposit must be arranged at the time of scheduling.
- Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy: Patients who fail to attend appointments have a significant financial impact on the clinic and increase waiting times for others. We kindly request a minimum of 72 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or rearrange your appointment.
- If at least 72 hours’ notice is given via text or call to 07919662469 or email at taraskinclinic2012@gmail.com, your appointment can be rescheduled for a minor amendment fee of £10. This fee is fully redeemable against the cost of your attended treatment.
- If less than 72 hours’ notice is provided, or if an appointment is missed entirely, a 50% charge of the scheduled service will be applied (with a minimum charge of £50), and your deposit will be forfeited.
- For pre-paid gift vouchers or cards, the corresponding cancellation or amendment fees will be deducted from the remaining value of the voucher.
- Punctuality: Please arrive on time for your scheduled appointment. Late arrivals may result in a reduction of your treatment time or, in extreme cases, the forfeiture of the appointment entirely to avoid disrupting subsequent patients.
- Treatment Courses: If you purchase a pre-paid course of treatments and are subsequently unable to complete it, you have a 3-working-day cooling-off period to cancel the remaining service, beginning the day after the purchase. If your treatment plan begins within this cooling-off window, your right to cancel terminates on the day the first treatment starts. Missed or late-cancelled appointments within a package will count as a used session. All pre-paid treatment courses are strictly valid for up to 12 months from the date of purchase.
- Refund Policy: Gift cards and retail products purchased directly from the clinic are strictly non-refundable. Gift cards can only be exchanged for eligible clinical goods and services and are subject to the same 72-hour cancellation policy.
- Charity & Raffle Prizes: From time to time, Tara Skin Clinic contributes toward charities by donating raffle prizes. Any winning prize is subject to a full consultation to ensure skin suitability. If the treatment or product is deemed unsuitable for the winner’s skin type, an alternative option may be discussed at the clinic’s discretion.
- Skincare Product Purchases: Due to strict hygiene, safety, and clinical regulations, all professional skincare products purchased are non-refundable. Returns, refunds, or exchanges cannot be issued for any items once they have left the clinic premises or if the safety seals have been opened or tampered with.
- Payment Methods: We accept secure UK mobile banking, direct bank transfers and cash. All bank transfers must be cleared at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment.
- Pricing & Variances: The clinic management reserves the right to alter prices without prior notice. While we endeavour to quote prices as accurately as possible, clinical treatments are highly bespoke. Prices may vary depending on individual patient requirements, skin complexity, and treatment area size. Prices are quoted per session unless specified otherwise. For a precise quotation, an in-person consultation is required.
- Patient Responsibility & Medical Disclosures: It is the patient’s strict responsibility to provide Tara Skin Clinic with a comprehensive, accurate medical history and disclose all health details, medications, or allergies prior to each treatment session. Tara Skin Clinic will not be held liable for any adverse reactions, damage, or injury that occurs as a result of a patient’s failure to disclose relevant medical or lifestyle details.
- Age Restrictions: To maintain a clinical environment, we do not permit children under the age of 14.
- Consultation Outcomes: Booking an initial clinical consultation does not automatically guarantee that treatment will be performed. Consultations are strictly used to assess skin health, blemish types, and medical suitability. Treatment will only proceed if it is safe and clinically viable for the patient.
